With the Uncertainty of where Hurricane Dorian will hit, People in Florida are taking no chances grabbing up all the water they can find leaving behind empty pallets and bare shelves at retails stores throughout Florida.
Stores like Walmart, Publix and Target.
In a interview with the Sun-Sentinel https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/weather/hurricane/fl-ne-tropical-storm-dorian-prep-20190828-m2prjgf6v5fmxjdzucvl4yarbq-story.html Walmart spokesman Casey Staheli said the store has an “emergency support team” that is monitoring the storm and supplies to stores. If there’s a shortage of water or other basics at area stores, shipments are rerouted to boost the supply, he said.
In a interview with the Miami Herald https://www.miamiherald.com/news/weather/hurricane/article234468777.html Publix spokesman Nicole Krauss said “There’s no water shortage. "We have continuous water deliveries throughout the state to all of our stores,”. Further stating “We have deliveries replenishing shelves around the clock.”
Remains to be seen if Walmart and Publix holds up to their end of the bargin.
